Cloud 9 Affairs is the result of creativity, energy, and a passion for events. It was founded to serve the community in providing memorable event concepts, design, and coordination, on a budget. With the experience and resources of the Cloud 9 Affairs staff, we are capable of taking the visions of our clients and transforming them into a reality that will never be forgotten.

At Cloud 9 Affairs, we have worked with numerous satisfied customers on a variety of events, a few examples include:

• The pleasure of assisting the Chapman University chapter of a national fraternity celebrate their fifth anniversary, with a gala at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California;
• Providing the directions and organization for a Southern California law firm to engage its office staff in various weekend social events. The activities included "An Appetite for Art" at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, a weekend trip to the Grand Canyon, luncheons and dinners at various locations, and other well received events;
• Concept weddings, including the traditional wedding on a budget, a relaxed bash on the beach, and an intimate garden wedding, among others;
• Assisting regional leadership conference organizers with professional direction for their annual events;
• Design and creation of numerous unique invitations, announcements, programs, and other graphic materials for our clients and events.

Jamie Fenton, a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Cloud 9 Affairs, began her career while a student at Chapman University in Orange, California. As an executive officer of the Phi Sigma Sigma Chapter at Chapman, she became immersed in the school's Greek Life. As a result, Jamie was tasked with the responsibility for planning a host of different events, some small and others much larger. Her  passion for event planning has continued to grow, as she has planned weddings, birthday celebrations, staff outings, anniversaries, and more. Jamie, with the support and assistance from her husband Michael, has been creating memorable experiences since 1997.

Michael Fenton, a founder and the Chief Financial Officer of Cloud 9 Affairs, first experienced aspects of event planning early in life as a DJ and emcee during his high school years.  He took that experience to Chapman University in Orange, California, where he became involved with the campus radio station as the engineer and eventually the General Manager.  Involved with all aspects of the radio station, he planned many exciting promotional events and implemented many successful marketing strategies.
